which theme should I choose to achieve this description?

Hi,

I am trying to choose between three themes. I would like to go with the one that will require the least number of plugins and effort to achieve the results I need, but thought I would ask in the forum since many of you would be more familiar with what it is like editing the CSS of these themes. The three I am considering are Sela (which I have worked with a little), Cerauno and Edin. I am making a static front page with widgets that have the most updated blog rolls etc. I am aware I will have to use a child theme with all of my options. (I have a hand drawn layout that I can upload for you to see if needed.)

What I need is to have a thin header across the top with a call to action on the left and a social / search function on the right. (Imaging adding this bar above the Sela title).

Below this is a logo and title, and also a visible tagline.

Below this is a font image either full width of page, or large on left with a call to action just to the right of it. the front image would have an overlay of a paragraph of intro text.

Below this is another section (be it a widget section or whatever) with three page links/sections with images.

Below this is another section with several testimonials aligned horizontally (preferable three to match the section above it).

Below this two or three areas for recent posts / popular posts.

And lastly a three column footer widget areas with a site info / social bar below it.

I have made a sketch on paper that I would like to upload so you can see it. (Need advice on how to upload the image to this forum). If someone can direct me how to do that please.

My initial thought was to go with Sela (which I started on), but it doesn’t seem to have the needed header / call to action bar, and not enough sections. So before I try to go CSS crazy and look for plugins…

I could potentially use Cerauno with a testimonials plugin and CSS manipulation….

Or I could use Edin and go to town on the CSS for call to actions etc.

Even though I started with Sela, it looks like the customization options in Edin are much more robust and it already includes testimonials. So I am thinking of switching to Edin.

Any input on which would be most able to serve my needs? And which would be the least headache?
