Which time zone?

  • Hi everybody,
    we installed the chat on our website and it works quite well. There are only two small problems. Could anyone please help us?
    1) Our team is situated in several different time zones. If we activate the chat let’s say from 9h to 17h: Which time zone does that mean? The time zone in which the server is located?

    2) In the settings area I can read: Current Site Time 2022-04-24 14:55:24 That would be a timezone that is located in the middle of the Atlantic, it is GMT – 1h. Why does the chat choose to display such an uncommon time zone? None of us is working there and I doubt that the server is located on some island in the ocean. Additionally, we have the problem that in the EU we have summertime now, which makes an hour of difference. How does the chat deal with that?

    The timezone that is used is the one that is configured on your WordPress > Settings > General > Timezone.

    Please give it a check and let us know.
