Which Type of Signup?

    We are trying to do a teacher appreciation event, where volunteers will sign up to give teachers a gift card for lunch. We are hoping to gather signups over a week, and then have the gift cards delivered no later than 2/12/21. I am unable to find the right type of event to allow me to use the date range.

    Same event – any way to import the tasks? We have 160+ teachers that I am using as a task.

    I’m not sure what you mean by the date range. If you just want people to signup to give gift cards, and it’s not something they need to do on a specific date, you can just use an “Ongoing” type event, which has no date associated with it. If, instead, you want to sign up people to hand deliver the gift cards on specific days of the week, then you can use a Multi Day event where you can specify the date for each task.

    Currently, the only way to import tasks would be to import directly into the tasks database table through something like MyPHPAdmin on your server control panel. You’d have to create the sheet first, so you know the numerical ID of the sheet in the sheets table, then you could import tasks for it with a CSV mapped exactly to the fields in the tasks table. Otherwise, there is no import function.
