Which version of the Facebook API does the plugin work with?

Hi there, just wondering which version of the Facebook API does this plugin work with currently: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/changelog
Can we upgrade the facebook API to V6 and will the plugin still work? I am currently on V3 you see.
