White gap between header and hero image

remove this gap ?

using Siteorigin builder

Thanks for the help, I tried to follow the screenshots but still couldn’t remove te gap, even when in row settings> layout, I change all padding and top padding to 0px but it doesn’t move.

The only solution was to add below CSS, but this affect all the pages on the wesbite and not only this page

}

Any ideas?

you need to try primarily change padding to the widget layout.
then for the layout row
then save the post
sometimes SO “klemmt” and it does not display changes…@@

I changed the padding of the row and it now takes effect , i found that it doesn’t take effect if the “extended header options” is enables, but f it’s disabled there is no white gap now.

However, there is still one issue as i can’t have transparent header without the extended options, so now i have the header (with white background) and then the hero image

Any ideas?

By adjusting row padding I can now have the hero image without the white gap between the header and the hero image, but I still have the same issue of the white background menu as you can see on this test page, I want the menu to be transparent over the hero image (this can be achieved by using extended header options but once I do this the hero image moves way down and the white gap issue appear again)

In brief, I want it to look like other pages for ex:https://eguru.website/how-it-works/ where I’m using page feature image along with extended header options, but I want to use SO hero image instead

Hey Eslam,

the transparent header option currently works together with the Extended Header feature only – is there a specific reason you want to use the SO Hero widget instead?
