White page and “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

  • Hello,

    Using latest Gutenberg release and latest Astra Pro theme, now, I’m unable to edit a page created with Gutenberg.
    A white page with this error message is displayed:
    The editor has encountered an unexpected error.

    With buttons giving the possibility to copy the error message.
    The error essentially concerns react-dom.min.js

    Downgrading Gutenberg to 9.9.3 does not seem to solve the issue….

    Does somebody have an idea ?
    Thank a lot for any help.

  • I’m getting the same thing, and like you, rolling Gutenberg back doesn’t help. Nor does rolling back Astra. Anyone?

    Hello,

    I think we are not alone with this issue.

    As for me, the error message is the same as this one:
    message from carlosmdh

    I use Astra Pro, but Astra does not seem very interested in this issue.

    So, at this time, I deactivated the Gutenberg plugin, in order to use the gutenberg system built in WordPress. Doing this, I’m able to edit pages created with Gutenberg.
    I have no better solution…
