    Hi,
I’m contacting you after i’ve get some issue with my wordpress. The website runs now since 5 years on WordPress and it’s updated on the last version (5.4.1). My host is configured on PHP 7.3.

This morning i’ve tried a new theme on my website and finally i decided to return on the previous. Now i’ve got a bunch of issues :
    – white page when add a post or a page with Gutenberg editor (not the classic)
    – with classic editor i can’t publish but only register as draft or submit
    – unable to add media (that never ends).

Notice i’ve add some content yesterday and it was fine.

What i’ve tried without success :
    – use default theme (Twenty twenty)
    – disable all extensions
    – reinstall wordpress
    – reinstall a database backup (and i’ve get an error as there was a duplicate of the primary for row 0 in option).

I’ve activated the debug too to see errors on the white page and i’ve got that :

    – reinstall wordpress

    Did you reinstall Manually?

If not, try MANUALLY updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it, and use that to copy up. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server EXCEPT the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. (NOTE: do not delete the?wp-content?directory or your?wp-config.php?file). Please read the Manual Update directions first.

Backup: If you haven’t already done, always backup everything (including your database) before doing any actions, just in case something really goes wrong. You can never have enough backups! See https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/wordpress-backups/

    Hi,

Thanks for quick reply. I’ve tried to reinstall manually and i’ve followed the link. However, before to re-activate extensions, i’ve clicked to add a post and i’ve still got the white page.

    Thanks,

I’ve chekcked the ling and try another database restauration with a one week backup (my host do some every day), and that’s working now. I don’t really understand what has happened it’s pretty strange but all is fine now. Thanks !
