white screen after login

  • Hey there,

    i get a white screen, if i try to log in via wp-admin or login.
    already tried to deactivate the plugins and the theme via ftp – this did not help.
    for some reason the error.log file is not created. so i am not able to share this currently.
    also increased the php memory limit.
    so if you have any more ideas and can help, it would be very much appreciated.

    what change(s) were made prior to the “white screen” problem-any updates to plugins, WP version, theme, PHP version?
    do you have a backup of database and files?

    sorry, forgot that information. a basic wp-config file was uploaded via ftp, causing a database error displayed on the page.
    so we replaced the config file with one from the backup. now the page shows again, including all woocommerce products, but login still does not work.

    can you set WP_DEBUG to “true” in your wp-config.php file?

    to fixed that problem, set first to Maintenance mode the website deactived 1 by 1 the plugin and updated to the new version of wordpress file and then rename your old theme and upload the updated theme that you use ,if you still have problem error then you need to upload new wordpress core file via ftp but you need to deactived the plugin when uploading new wordpress core.. you have to remember if you have a custom code in your theme function you need to back up first the theme function.
