White screen after upgrade to 2.3.6

    Site previously worked fine. After upgrading to 2.3.6 today, site doesn’t display, PHP error message is Error message on URL:
    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in {root-folders}/wp-content/plugins/simple-custom-post-order/simple-custom-post-order.php on line 49

  • Simple Custom Post Order not activate Fatal error kindly please update 2.3.6 this is working but 2.3.7 version is not working

    once i changed my php version to 7.1 (from 5.4 eek!) it worked.

    Can you please let me know what version of PHP do you have installed?
    This is most likely caused by using an older version of PHP and you will have to ask your hosting company to update it.

    We are also currently working on an update that will be released today and should fix this, if you do not want to ask your hosting company to update.
