    Hello,
I’m using the “Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks – Page Builder Features” Plugin since half a year, and it worked really well. After several plugin updates last week, I wasn’t able to add new blog posts or edit existing blog posts. I got a “white screen” every time. At this time, I wasn’t able to identify the issue. I did a backup rollback to the state of last week, installed “WP Rollback” plugin and installed plugin update, after update making tests after each of the 8 pending plugin updates.

After all, “Gutenberg Blocks by Kadence Blocks – Page Builder Features” Version 3.2.30 causing the “white screen”. When I Rollback to 3.2.29 everything works.

    The changelog plugin=kadence-blocks&section=changelog is telling:

    3.2.30

    Release Date: March 22nd 2024
    * Update: Improve Design library load time.
    * Fix: Issue with custom color palette.

All other plugins are up-to-date, now. Thank you.

    Best regards, Jürgen

    Hello @cpc6128,

Do you have debugging logs you can provide regarding this issue? Often, the white screen is due to server settings like the memory limit. Can you also ensure that your server settings satisfy the following settings?

    PHP Memory Limit 512MB
    Max Post Size 50MB
    WP Memory Limit 128/256MB
    Max Upload Size 50MB
    Max Input Vars 2500
    Max Execution Time around 300

    Hello Gilbert,

thank you for your reply. As I said there are no problems with 3.2.29. All other plugins are the same. As soon as I switch to 3.2.30 I get the white screen when creating new/edit existing blog posts.
Actually I activated the wordpress debug option with 3.2.30 plugin version getting this output:

Hope that’s helping you find the issue. Thank you.

    Hello @cpc6128,

Unfortunately, the log doesn’t provide enough information to determine the problem. I also am unable to recreate the problem as everything works as expected in my testing.

Please check for additional logs after the problem occurs. The problem may trigger additional errors that may be useful. Can you also check for console errors in the browser developer tools when you encounter the white screen?

Additionally, is it possible to update your PHP version to 8.2 or 8.3 and see if that helps the problem?

    Hello Gilbert,

thank you for your last update. I’m almost 30 years in unix computer business now. I waited till Kadence Blocks Version 3.2.37 and 2 days ago I updated. And: Everything works fine, now.

    Best regards, Jürgen
