    Hi there,

    Firstly, thanks for creating the Litespeed Cache, it works great and sped up website a lot.

    I encountered a recent issue with the white screen of death where the site keep reloading itself continuously over and over again. The issue seems to occur everyday and specifically in the evening around 5pm-8pm GMT+8.

    The issue can be resolved by doing a “Purge All” and the website resumes to its original loadable state thus I figured that this is a cache issue. I am guessing that this issue might be caused by expired cache?

    I am looking to resolve this issue as the manual purging of cache causes a loss of traffic from time to time. The WSOD can go unnoticeable until our visitors/customers informs us. And the strange part is it seems to happen once every day around 5pm-8pm GMT+8.

    The issue occurs on iOS Mobile, Chrome as well as Firefox and I am trying to toggle the options in Litespeed in trying to resolve the issues but it still recurs. I just activated the crawler to see if it helps with my situation. Hope to seek assistance in resolving the issue if it doesn’t.

  • This has neither something to do with purge cache nor with cache plugin for WP. If you think the issue always and only happens if you purge the cache, then PHP can be executed again. If a page is cached there is no PHP and pure HTML will be delivered. If a site has loop redirects then there must me something wrong in your application code. If you check developer console in your browser you will see a huge number of errors and warnings with cookies and not finding sources.

    You should disable or better deinstall cache plugin and check/fix the huge number of issues first before you enable/install cache plugin first.

    Hi qtwrk,

    Thank you for the advise. Interesting the WSOD occurred again today after disabling minify html yesterday, however the WSOD didn’t occur on desktop/mac after I did check on both mac and desktop. Instead, it occurs only on the mobile version of the site. I loaded the site on 2 iPhones, and on both phones the WSOD occurs where the site loads continuously.

    I generated and sent a second report for your reference.

    please try disable JS HTTP2 push and CSS HTTP2 push , purge all , then try again on your iPhones

    The issue still occurs with this off.
    The issue occurs on desktop again.

    Do you have any PHP error in your log ?

    and also please try export your current setting and reset to default setting , see how it goes on default setting

    Thank you for the follow up.
    No, there wasn’t any PHP error in log under Toolbox.
    I seem to be getting even more issues with litespeed now.
    I did a migration of the site from subdomain to main domain.
    Now pictures show up with a frame when I activate litespeed.
    Activating litespeed also changes text styling on the main page.
    Reloading the page sometimes end up with WSOD and sometimes it loads.

    These issues doesn’t occur at all when I deactivate litespeed from plugins.
    I think I have to get professional help from your team.
    Really interested in utilising litespeed. XD
