• My website is displaying the white screen of death. I can access the wp-admin site but my username and password is now inactive.

    How do I restore my website back to it’s original state?

  • do you mean: I can access the wp-admin site but my username and password is now inactive ??

    Also, have you made any site changes at the time of this issue?

    Can you post a link to your site?

    @krishnahttps://www.localdistribution.com.au but at this stage i have just redirected it to my fb fan page.

    @seacoast – my site got hacked last night was the index page was replaced. my hosting/domain company eliminated that and has made it blank. and YES to my username and password now being inactive.

    Do you have a backup of your site? If so, deleting WordPress and other contents in your site, then installing a freshly downloaded copy of WordPress and restoring from backup can help.

    Also see if you can delete the code or plugin you are using by using FTP or cPanel/ File Manager.

    I still find suspicious looking codes in your site.

    @krishna – yeah, i was thinking that but i don’t have any back-up.

    In that case I suggest either you ask for a backup from your host or you can create one by loging in to your account. See if there is a system to get a backup of your site for the day/time just before you were hacked.

    Also I suggest to go through all the steps recommended by WordPress in this link:

    since i can’t log into my account, I’ll have to get a backup from my host – which i’ve already requested. Thanks Krishna!
