• I have a HUGE issue with my wordpress site. A few months ago, I started getting an error message, that escalated to the white screen, which I received at least once every time I tried to post. That has now escalated to me being unable to access my site at all, from any device and it seems that my site is shut down completely.

I cannot write code, so I tried all the troubleshooting options, disabling plug-ins and upgrading to the most recent version of WordPress. I also thought my theme might be the issue, so I upgraded to a different version of that and now I can’t access my site.

It makes it impossible to do anything when I can’t access anything on my admin panel.

I have been reading the forums and I can’t understand why a problem like this (that people have been experiencing for 5+) hasn’t been fixed. Any help is much appreciated. My site is: https://www.salubriousrd.com

  • Your page looks fine. I guess you fixed the issue?

Actually, I still cannot access it and I’m still getting the white screen. I recently moved to Germany. Could there be a compatibility issue there? I can’t see it on any of my devices.

I’m happy to know that someone else can see it though.

    <script id=”tinyhippos-injected”>if (window.top.ripple) { window.top.ripple(“bootstrap”).inject(window, document); }</script>
this code is in the top of the page,

Website does work on my end too.

What Godaddy’s hosting plan are you on? Their older linux plans (not cPanel) are terrible for WordPress and we had a lot of issues on clients’ sites on those plans and after client would upgrade to cPanel hosting plan all those issues would go away.

Please check you config and index files.

where are you seen that code at the top of the page? I’m not seeing anything close to that, are you sure that’s not your browser extension that’s injecting it?

Thanks Viktor. I’ll check with godaddy and see if that has something to do with it.

@codemovement.pk. Sorry for my ignorance, I have no idea what that means.

@viktor I see blank screen, I can see this code in code inspector in Google chrome.

I had to twist their arm and provide proof that it’s their hosting that’s terrible… just FYI. The difference between linux hosting plan and cpanel deluxe hosting plan once we switched was like night and day. That’s the only thing we did, switch plans for this client.

If that’s the case for you, it’s also a bit cumbersome task to switch since it’s the same domain and the same hosting provider. And you have to be a little creative in getting it done.

Let us know what they say. Refer them to my answer, so they can better answer your support ticket.

I am on Linux. Do I request the change or can I do it myself?

@codemovement.pk I’m not seeing anything in my Chrome. Do you see this code if you use incognito mode? If not, than its your browser extension thats inserting it. I’m not seeing it.

    @spflugradt

Here’s what we had to do when we switched from linux to cpanel.

    1. Client called support and rep prorated her cpanel plan based on her linux plan, so she didn’t pay full price. Because it’s same domain, they will create your cpanel hosting for a fake domain salubriousrd1.com or something.

    2. You need to migrate your WP to new cpanel hosting and set it up.

    3. You need to cancel your linux plan and wait for system to update (for us took about 4 hours)

    4. Once it’s updated, in cpanel you will be allowed to change your main domain, so you can change it from fake domain to the actual domain.

Godaddy will say website will not be down, but due to their system taking forever to update cancellation website will be down.

This is what we had to go through to make this switch.

@spflugradt: fyi ím located in germany and get your page served perfectly fine.
