White screen of death after updating

    While updating to the new version, WordPress chokes and goes to the WSOD (all pages). This seems to happen at sites hosted at Pantheon. The only mitigation is going back to an old version via FTP. Here is the only error log I receive:

    session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: )wp-content/plugins/photo-gallery/photo-gallery.php:75

    Please update the Photo Gallery Plugin to the upcoming version (1.4.6) and check if the problem solves. The new version will be available in a couple of days.
