White Screen of Death from Drupal
-
Hello,
I run a personal website that includes a wordpress blog. The wordpress blog is hosted on a different database than the front page, which is a drupal site. Apparently, drupal had an issue with malware being able to infect some sites with a “white screen of death” which essentially renders the site unusable–all the pages infected show up as a blank, white screen.
It appears that my wordpress site has been infected. I have tried several tactics to try to eliminate the infection, to no avail. At this point, I am asking two questions:
- does anyone have advice about another way I might go about fixing this problem?
- I have pretty much resigned to the fact that I am going to have to wipe the whole database and start over. Is it possible WITHOUT using the front-end UI to save my posts? I pulled the whole site onto my local machine–are the posts in the files somewhere? Or are they all gone?
Thanks,
Robert
