White screen, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE and possibly out of free disk

    BackWPup Support,

    BackWPup 3.1.2 has been working well for a while. After migrating content from a Joomla site to WordPress it is now having issues. At least, I believe this is when these issues started.

    1.) The last log says this: WARNING: file_put_contents(): Only 4096 of 7694 bytes written, possibly out of free disk space.

    I looked into this issue and came across this Forum thread:

    It was suggested that I’ll need more “Server Quota”. I’m not sure what this refers to specifically but I’m asking my server admin about it as well. The actual hard disk space should not be an issue because 55% of this space is freed up.

    2.) When I navigate to BackWPup > Jobs ( https://wpnew.icpainc.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=backwpupjobs ) I just noticed that now I get a white screen.

    I enabled debug mode and this error shows up on the page:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE in /home/icpainc/wpnew.icpainc.org/public_html/wp-content/uploads/backwpup-bc946a-temp/backwpup-working.php on line 120

    Please let me know any ideas you have to resolve these issues.

    1.) I’m not sure exactly what resolved this but I got it taken care of.

    2.) I resolved this one by changing the name of the “backwpup-bc946a-temp” folder to “backwpup-bc946a-temp2”.

    hi,
    i also get a white screen when i try to open backwpup’s jobs page in the backend. this bug appeared after i had changed the name of the db file and the name of the txt file for the plugin list.

    i turned on debug mode and when opening the page these messages show up:

    Warning: Unexpected character in input: ”’ (ASCII=39) state=1 in ../wp-content/uploads/backwpup-f1a506-temp/backwpup-working.php on line 309

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end, expecting ‘)’ in ../wp-content/uploads/backwpup-f1a506-temp/backwpup-working.php on line 309

    when i open the file backwpup-working.php, line 309 is the very last one. see in the following, what is shown there:

    307    'JOB_WPPLUGIN' =>
308    array (
309      'NA

    it seems as if there is something missing after line 309…?

    can anybody give me some advice on this?

    Try to delete all backup* folders.

    thank you for that advice!
    it turned out that the disk was full. deleting old backup files – not the backup folder – was the solution to my problem.
