  • Mixed content.

Please change your WordPress URL to use HTTPS, instead of HTTP.

I will try that, but it was the same when i installed the wp, i did not look like what the setup instruction showed, but i think, maybe it would change after setup, but it did not.

It seems you originally run the WordPress setup (installer) by visiting the address https://example.com. I’m using example.com here in case you don’t want Google indexing this support article with your domain, but note the HTTP here, instead of HTTPS.

You may letter have configured SSL/HTTPS on the server.

So now your webserver is forwarding HTTP to HTTPS. But the old HTTP URLs are still in the WordPress database, hence the need to change the WordPress URL.

Hey George Appiah. Thx alot for your answer and help ??
I see what you write, and it give good sense.
So now i started from the beginning again, to make sure i start the setup process with https.
I get mixed content allready from the first page of the setup.
But its the same, so i think the problem is somewhere else, i will need to talk with my host of the server.

    Hi @thelionkingdk,

Installing WordPress on Ubuntu is done in the following four steps:

    Create a database

    Download WordPress to your computer

    Configure WordPress

    Install WordPress

So please check if you missed any steps. Maybe you missed some installation steps. To be able to install WordPress on Ubuntu, it requires on the server (or computer in case you installed it). WordPress for internal use needs to have LAMP (Apache Web Server, MySQL and PHP for Linux) installed.

Hi, I am having similar issues and do not know how to fix. I have tried to follow the help on this thread but the issue still persists.

Hi, I am having similar issues and do not know how to fix. I have tried to follow the help on this thread but the issue still persists.

That’s probably because don’t have a newly installed website with no plugins and no content, and you’re also probably not running Ubuntu 20.04 site with PHP7.4 and Maria — as the original post in this thread.

In other words, no two problems are exactly the same.

Please open a new support thread and clearly explain your problem. Be sure to also explain your site’s setup: https://www.ads-software.com/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/#new-topic-0
