White space above social icons in mobile view

  • I really need help with how to remove the white space that appears in mobive view (below app 580px screen width) – between the logo and the social icons widget. I have literally tried everything I can think of in css. It doesn’t look like there is any margin or padding, so I have also tried reducing the size of the social icon div/block – which only makes the social icons drop closer to the main content, and keeps the same distance to the logo. I have also tried vertically aligning the social icons to the top or middle – also can’t get that to change anything.

    For info, I am using the theme Express, if that makes a difference.

    Grateful for any help! At my wit’s end.

  • You have html that is in white text, but I highlighted it in this image so you can find it and delete.

    Thank you!! I hadn’t even noticed that. It took me a while to find where the code was placed, but it’s now fixed. Thank you so much.
