White space above video

    Hi,

    I found that after the last update of Gutenberg a white space exists above a Youtube embed. I’m not sure if it’s the theme, I also made a topic at Gutenberg.

    Also with narrow width of the theme some embeds like Flickr are not responsive. In other themes they are.

    Hi, can you show the Flickr embeds which being not responsive?

    For instance this link, black and white doesn’t center, the botom Flickr slideshow, with the mountains, doesn’t adjust it’s size. https://www.agrusoft.nl/auteursrechten-op-fotos/

    In this link are the white spaces and 4 images wich are not resized on a tablet. https://www.agrusoft.nl/panoramas-maken/

    I use narrow content and no sidebar in this example. When I switch to full content and no sidebar the images are responsive but the whitespaces above video’s remain.

    Hi Alfred,

    Thanks for clearly pointing out the issue. I managed to fix them. I will upload a new version containing the fixes.

    As for the related posts grid, do you use any shortcode from 3rd party plugin? Because it looks like a non-standard Gutenberg block.

    The related possts is indeed non Gutenberg. It is the related posts by taxonomy plugin. https://nl.www.ads-software.com/plugins/related-posts-by-taxonomy/

    I use this one a long time and now in Gutenberg I use is by embedding the shortcode.

    In that case, the responsive styles of the related grid should be from the plugin.

    That’s right, but the related grid is not causing a problem, it’s resposive. It are the embeds that are not resposive until the next update tou were talking about. So no worry there.B.t.w., I noticed that normal images are also not resposive.

    Yes, we will fix the embeds.

    Sorry I misunderstood, what you said with “4 images wich are not resized on a tablet” I thought it was the related grid.

    We would upload v0.6.0 tomorrow ??
