White space top and bottom

    My pages show white space above header and below footer. I have zereod out every margin/padding I can find in the editor.

    Here is the guilty code I found using developer tools in Edge….

    1. –wp–style–root–padding-top: var(–wp–preset–spacing–40);
    2. –wp–style–root–padding-right: var(–wp–preset–spacing–30);
    3. –wp–style–root–padding-bottom: var(–wp–preset–spacing–40);
    4. –wp–style–root–padding-left: var(–wp–preset–spacing–30);

    How do I fix this in WordPress editing? Help appreciated.
