Another domain added. This guy posted three times, different IPs and email but username is the same.

    Date. IP Address Username. Email
7-Dec-13 16:02 125.80.238.14 uggs for kids [email protected]

How was he whitelisted with this IP? Same username should trigger something, no?

Was he on the white list (found on the Stop Spammer settings page) or was he in the good cache (found on the Spammer History page)?

If the is in the good cache it means that he was able to pass all the spam checks. If he is in the white list then he was added somehow.

History page at the bottom, right side under Bad IPs

Just found yet another. Hit the symbol next to the IP, not the second one

    41.43.92.101 Removed from cache

OK, that means that that IP is passing all tests. Keep the cache clear. Go in and clear it often. Report any comments to SFS as soon as you get them.

I am working on a way to report the bad logins to SFS as well, but it won’t be ready for another few weeks.

Ok, cache cleared. Found another Passed IP where 7 spammers registered. All nonsensical idents at hotmail, like [email protected]. Removed him from good cache. Several other similar idents but different IPs.

So far it is stopping dozens of registrations per day. I had moved those to Spam Bots category in the Members plugin. Now I can delete more than 600 from my members list. If they try again, you’ll catch them.

    You’re my hero ??
