Whitespace added after map display

Theres a whitespace being added to the page right after where the map is. It takes on the same height with the map, in my case 450px, so a total of 900px is used with half of it being with. This is really not user friendly and I have used css to push this to the bottom after the footer.

On checking the inspect tool, the whitespace contains scripts im guessing the plugin uses to load the map.

Is there a way to get rid of this white space please and still have a functional map as we need the page to appeal to users and the space isnt doing that.
