Whitespace problem – cannot login to WordPress

  • Hello,
    We just tried to add a plugin to our website (to put icons in the utility navigation menu – https://www.impact.org.uk)
    Now receiving the above error message when we try to login:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3pnexwpnas09_data02/50/2845050/html/wp-content/themes/impact/functions.php:181) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas09_data02/50/2845050/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1207

    Can anyone kindly help us by explaining how we can get in to fix this?
    Would be really appreciated. Thanks.

  • Use FTP or your cPanel’s File Manager and remove the plugin you just added and see if that fixes it.

    Thank you juggledad. We finally figured out how to do this and removed the right bit of code from the error message. Much appreciated.
