Who assigns email addresses

    Who would be responsible for assigning email addresses for sites when GoDaddy provided the domain, Hostgator hosts it and I’m on a www.ads-software.com based site?
    I have no idea if I’m missing emails because I didn’t know about the address they were being sent to?
    There’s a [email protected], in the dashboard, but I get a Delivery Failed error on it…
