Who made that my URL?

I think I posted this to the wrong forum, before. Here’s a rerun.

Hello people,

I uploaded my blog to my hosting company, as per the instructions they gave; they had a special wordpress install link. Thank goodness for that, because I doubt I would have made it without this aid.

But something seems to be amiss….To visit my blog, one has to go to charlotteneumann.com/wordpress.

Now that’s not what I want. I want it to be at charlotteneumann.com, or possibly in a folder named for my blog: for instance, charlotteneumann.com/animalsgalore.

I mean…it’s not so pretty to have the word ‘wordpress’ in one’s url. Anyone know why this has happened, and possibly even: how to fix it?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
