whole host of issues

I wrote the below in another part of the forum, and one of the moderators suggested I post it here instead-

I used to build my own sites with another builder, and would have been done two weeks ago. In this two weeks I’ve stripped out the original site, started again, had it working, had a friend test the contacts… not working… spent two days fixing (BTW, a simple drag+drop shouldn’t need a host of after market plugins to work efficiently!) Photos not showing as all one size, don’t know how to fix that, because they were in editor. Header screwed, don’t know how to fix, because I didn’t do that, but logs showing edits during the night? The site title has changed, plus been added to the header… I DIDN’T DO THAT! I know this, because I’ve done all the SEO, and the site is Google verified.

Now my logo and menu are above the header image in a grey no mans land, the editing section refuses to put them where they should be. Absolutely nothing looks like it should, on an ipad my blog page has weird green banner that can’t be seen on anything else, and no way to edit it out. I tried to roll everything back to the beginning of LAST WEEK, to start again, and it point blank refused to.

I can’t afford to pay for pro anything, because I’m in the severe disability group, just trying to use this to share the knowledge I have. Link provided, just in case anyone wants to look at the site I hate.
