    How do site visitors sign up to become a wholesaler so they can purchase at the discounted prices?? Do I have to manually add them?? I need them to be able to create a wholesaler account when they see the better prices available…

    Hi @designdivafw, thanks for the question!

    You can definitely sign people up manually or via the standard WC account registration. You’ll just need to adjust their user role to the Wholesale Customer role (this is the included role in the free version) once registered so they can see the wholesale pricing as the pricing is based off the role.

    We also have another plugin called Lead Capture which lets you create a custom wholesale registration form and have it automatically assign the correct role after the user is approved (there’s an approvals process included in that plugin as well).

    Thanks for the info Josh – so to clarify…on the free plugin…visitors cannot sign up for a wholesale account themselves and immediately purchase with wholesale prices?

    Hi @designdivafw yep, for auto approved wholesale accounts you’ll need Lead Capture. If you’re looking to save and have the dev skills you could code it yourself using one of the WordPress hooks after users register and adjust the user role.
