Why Are Auto Backups Not Running?

This is usually a problem with your host, and will affect future scheduled posts. To fix it, we can make WP use a different method of running scheduled jobs.

Just add inside your wp-config.php:

define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true).

This ALTERNATE_WP_CRON solution didn’t work for me. However, I eventually found a workaround: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/scheduled-backups-not-working.
