Why are my post not formatted correctly in the category menu?

  • the link from the category menu will show an archive page, not the individual post. how an archive page shows your post depends on your theme, and can differ from the view of the single post. archive pages often only show the excerpt of the post, not the full post, and even then, might not show the post in the same layout as the individual post.
