I have asked but ignored on this important question, why are my posts being held for moderation?

Note: I will keep this browser tab/page open, please reply, and I will reply back so you can close this post string – after I get an answer.

You were informed why 5 days ago.

I’m including the original message below, and I’ll be closing this post following my reply. The tl;dr is that you’ve been using the forums as if they were your personal blog and being rather rude to humans.

The support forums are for users to get help. Your post was not a request for help, it was a complaint. And had that been a review, it might have been acceptable, but running it like your own blog isn’t okay.

Looking back through a number of your posts, you have been using the forums questionably. There are snide comments like ‘I can only smile at this’ with regards to someone else having problems with a plugin. Many of your posts are attacks on companies.

It’s understandable that you’re angry and upset when plugins don’t work properly. But your behaviour to the community in general has been unkind. So your account is being moderated until you’ve demonstrated, by your actions, that you can be a productive member of the community.

Since your posts are generally approved within hours, this is not a hardship.

Here is the original notification you were sent:

I’m archiving the entire “Google ReCaptcha v3 & Contact Form 7 – Not Working – Inundated with Spam” because it’s not a support topic and you’ve been using it as your own running blog/support post.

That’s not appropriate. The plugin author for Contact Form 7 has his own recommendations and taking over a section of that plugin’s dedicated support forum for this is not right. This topic became your own Recaptcha CF 7 support area. Please do not repeat that again.

If you need to contact the moderators about this then you can do so via the Slack #forums channel.

To use that channel you need a Slack account. You can obtain one via these instructions.
