Why are my sidebars not showing?

Hello,

I recently installed a new wordpress theme “Bloger” as it had a right sidebar and I want to put a few things into the sidebar e.g. author bio, recent posts, mailchimp form. I go to Appearance-Widgets and drag them over to the “right sidebar”. I fill out the widget details and when I click “save”, nothing changes on my site.

I have tried everything at this start and I just cannot understand why nothing is showing in my sidebar.
