Why aren’t more people using this?

  • [UPDATE Jun 2024] The support team came through for me in a major way just recently when I had a problem with Matomo, I’m very very impressed. Another reason I can only give the highest recommendations!

    This plugin is just amazing. It makes installing and managing Matomo from WordPress a breeze – just a few mouse clicks, and you’re good to go! I’m surprised more WP users haven’t adopted this plugin since it came out. Perhaps it’s because those who were using Matomo before see no reason to switch from the user-installed version to this plugin. I hope this plugin will flourish and continuously grow its user base and feature set. Matomo itself is excellent, there’s a reason it’s the #1 alternative to Google Analytics. Keep up the great work, Matomo team!

  • Agreed! I had missed out on it until now because I was just using Slimstat and did not know what I was missing. (I would have liked to have used Piwik but couldn’t justify the standalone installation for my clients.) It was only Slimstat becoming unmaintained that led me to search again and find what is now Matomo and this great plugin.
