I imported from square and not all my images came in, ok. I thought MAYBE it was bc of a media file limit on my wordpress server, so I upped that to like 20 mb thinking it’ll fix itself on the next sync. But it didn’t, and hasn’t.

Even though that IMPORT FROM SQUARE button has in bold ONLY CLICK ONCE… can I just keep clicking this thing? I’m hesitant to try that to resolve my non image import.

When do the images sync? Is there an option to add image sync? because right now it does say:
Square is the system of record. The following data from Square will overwrite WooCommerce data for synced products: name, price, inventory.
Product images will be imported from Square if no featured image is set in WooCommerce.

So maybe image isn’t going to ever sync? And yes, there was no featured image, but I see the image in square.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Hi there @alexbteller,

I imported from square and not all my images came in, ok.

So if I understood you correctly, you imported your products from Square and for some of them the images didn’t go through. However, some did get imported, is that right?

    > Even though that IMPORT FROM SQUARE button has in bold ONLY CLICK ONCE… can I just keep clicking this thing? I’m hesitant to try that to resolve my non image import.

You can use this button to create new products in WooCommerce but not for updating the existing ones.

When do the images sync? Is there an option to add image sync?

Images are synced for existing products when you hit the Sync Now button in WooCommerce > Settings > Square > Update.

I have tested two scenarios on my test site now:
    – I created a product with an image in Square end and it was imported to WC successfully by clicking the Import From Square button (don’t forget to add SKU to that product)
    – I created a product without an image in Square, imported it the same way as above, added an image in Square and hit Sync Now – the image got added to WC product.

In your case I’d recommend the following:

    – check the box Enable Logging in WooCommerce > Settings > Square and sync your products.
    – check the logs in WooCommerce > Status > Logs > choose square_sync from the drop-down.

Do you see any errors there? You can use https://pastebin.com/ to paste logs here. Please specify related product names in this case.

One more thing – if you create a new product with no image, import it, then add an image, and sync, does it work? It will help us narrow the issue down.

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Cheers!

    Hi there @alexbteller,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hi Elvira,

I am also currently having this problem. We change images in Square, but they are not being updated in woocommerce.

    Hi @mbreslow56,

Please create a separate thread for your issue and include the same information that I asked in my previous reply here.

    Thank you!
