Hi, I use the free version of Media Cleaner. I can’t delete one image. I deleted it everywhere: from the trash all sizes via FTP. I found that it is still in the folder “Refereces” and it is linked to an already deleted file, how can I delete this file? Reference:

In the footer I had a picture of the logo with a link to the site. The image is unnecessarily 900px. I shrunk the image and re-uploaded it to the library. Unfortunately, the image still displays at 900px. I have temporarily removed the footer of the page. Still, the problem of displaying a large 900px image persists.
Thank you for your help. Regards George

    Hey @georgebr ! ??

You can check under your /upload folder to see if there is a “trash” folder containing the media. If not, this could be because the files in the trash have already been removed manually or by another process. In this case, it means that the amount of data you see taken up by the trash is actually 0. This is just here because your database isn’t up to date with the current state of the trash folder.

You can run this SQL query inside your database. If you need any assistance with this, let me know! Before doing so, always make sure to have a reliable backup of your website.

    DELETE FROM wp_mclean_scan WHERE deleted = 1

Most database admin panels have a section where you can manually enter SQL requests, and simply copy the code inside and it should work. If you can’t figure out where this field is, you can contact the helpful folks at your hosting service and they will assist you with this.

If the “trash” folder isn’t empty, you can manually delete it and refer to the previous SQL query to update your database subsequently. ??

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I have created a backup. In the time before you wrote me back I tried the Expert mode option. Something went wrong. Correctly it should be see the link (it’s a backup on localhost):

    https://snipboard.io/qRuxay.jpg

On the live site everything is displayed Not found in content. Not true. The images are up to date and found, see link:

How can I fix it? I haven’t solved the original problem yet… Can you please send me a link to a tutorial on how Expert mode works? Thanks for the advice. Regards George

I have restored the entire site backup. So I’m going back to the beginning with my question. I need to remove the jpg image with the logo with 900px and change the logo with 198px size. How should I proceed with my Media Cleaner and Media WordPress? Please step by step. Thank you. Regards George.
