Why can’t I update a plugin review?

  • I’m trying to update a plugin review I set 4+ years ago, but www.ads-software.com doesn’t allow me as it is apparently ‘closed’.

    Reviews should be open for ever to update as experience may change with changing version of plugins.

    Reviews should be editable forever. Link to that review, please.

    I can’t even find my review for https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/cookie-notice/reviews/

    When I try to edit the review I made 4 years and 3 months ago, I get several error messages:

    In red: “Your post is being held for moderation by our automated system and will be manually reviewed by a volunteer as soon as possible.No action is needed on your part at this time, and you do not need to resubmit your message.”

    In orange: “This topic is marked as closed to new replies, however your posting capabilities still allow you to reply.
    This topic is marked as spam.”

    Held for moderation is just the spam filters. We check the queues frequently and will clear that.
