I currently have colour attributes set as a variable product for an item and have run the variations for these including images per colour. I now need to add to both these variations and images, and edit existing ones, but when I click on the upload image ‘placeholder’ it just changes to a dark blue colour but doesn’t do anything so I can’t add new images.
Also on the side, of the edit product page, where it shows the product gallery images, when I click on the link to “add product gallery images” it does the same.
What is causing this and how to I remedy this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi @vicki76,

From what you describe as occurring when trying to add or edit images it sounds like you have a potential software conflict on your site.

I’d suggest carrying out a conflict test in your site to try and locate the culprit. This document below offer guidance on how to conflict test on a WordPress installation. Usually, isolated behaviour like what you describe and which has not displayed on our own sites during our cross-testing can be related to code with another plugin or a theme.

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you haven’t carried out this type of testing on your site as yet it’s what we would initially recommend.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello there @stuartduff

Thanks for your message and help with this.

After following those steps it shows that the plugin User Regisration by WPEverest is what is making the difference.

Is there a way to solve this or do I need to deactivate it everytime I wish to make changes?

    Hey @vicki76,

That’s fantastic to hear this helped identify the culprit.

Now you know which software is causing the conflict you’re experiencing I’d suggest reaching out to the WPEverest support team and making them aware of this. They may be unaware their software is causing these issues and should be happy to investigate further and apply a fix if necessary.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks so much @stuartduff

It was doing my head in trying to figure it all out so you’ve saved the day!

I have reached out to WP Everest and hope to get this resolved. Great plugin so hopefully it can be remedied.

Once again, thanks for your prompt help and service.
