Why can’t user existing Merchant account

Hello,

Google Listings & Ads needs 3 accounts to work properly: A WordPress account, A Google account, and a Google Merchant Center account.

Do I need a Google Merchant Center account? Yes. Because it will help the products to appear on Google Shopping.

If I understand correctly, you are looking to change the Merchant center account, is this correct?

Oh, I’m afraid that Google Listings & Ads isn’t compatible with advanced merchant center accounts at the moment.

At this time, Google Listings & Ads doesn’t support multi-client Merchant Center accounts. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You can set up a standalone/independent Google Merchant Center account, this is possible (a workaround?), and more information about it is available here.

Wow I wasted a lot of time going in circles on this just to find out it doesn’t work with Advanced accounts (multi sub accounts under a parent account).

Is there any workaround or advice how to get this working? We have to use our multi-sub-accounts setup parent account…
