Why decrease in number of RSS Feeds in ShortStat?

I am blogging several times a week, and use the plugin ShortStat to monitor traffic RSS feed hits. On the days that I blog, at least when I started about 45 days ago, I would see four or five hits on the feed counter for those days.

Now I am seeing one to two. I have registered manually to four RSS feeds, and I was hoping to be seeing at least four hits for feeds on the days that I post.

Is there something I need to be doing differently? BTW, I am using plugin Wassup to see who is on the site, but use ShortStat to monitor the feeds.

Any thoughts?
