  • ACF hasn’t changed name. It has been forked and replaced as part of the ongoing dispute with WP Engine.

    In theory it should be compatible but given how hastily this was done, there could be unforeseen edge cases.
    If you would prefer using the original ACF or need the Pro version, they do still provide it. I don’t know if posting the link is acceptable in the current climate here but it shouldn’t be hard to find.

    Thank you. I see. Seems like it was the right thing to do, as I have read several news now about how WP Engine is conducting their business.
