Why direct download url is visible?

    Which setting do you have set for Download Method in the EDD Settings on the Misc tab?

    The Redirect option is inherently insecure because it simply redirects the user to the file’s actual location.

    In order to have files secure, there are several options:

    1. Use the “Forced” download method in Downloads > Settings > Misc.

    2. Use Amazon S3 along with our S3 extension: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/extensions/amazon-s3

    3. Use the “Symlink” option in Downloads > Settings > Misc along with the “Redirect” download method.
