Hi I am not an expert and am very confused. I have one site, but it seems a couple of dashboards. this is confusing because I have 2 different areas for plugins. Does it matter where the plugin is installed ? will it work as if on both dashboards?

I am also concerned if this is causing m y spamming issues. Perhaps the W3 caches and plugins are not doing the job if they are on the admin dashboard and not the site dashboard?

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • You will have one admin dashboard for the entire multisite and then you will have a separate dashboard for each site in the multisite install.

    Plugin activation works like this:

Plugins activated on the network level (wp-admin/network) are active for all sites on your network and cannot be disabled per site

Plugins activated per site are like ‘normal’ plugins on single sites.
