Why do my trackbacks show as from anonymous?

  • Why do my trackbacks show as from anonymous on other site. I think it has something to do with blog_name but don’t know how to change it. My trackback is not the only one on that site but all the rest have a name and I’m showing as anonymous. Thanks, John

    Yes but I just added the name to validate my rss feed and the trackback was done earlier in the day. I have a graphic with the name for a header so I didn’t have it filled in. That’s what it is ha?
    Can I re ping the trackback somehow?
    or put it in a second time?
    or take it out and then put it back in?
    or will it automatically update at some point?
