• I’v just updated my staging server to 9.7. So far, so good. But why, for Chrissake, did you change basic layout elements like the input fields on the checkout page? Changes are ok, but they should be backwards compatible. However, it is really not the best idea in the world, to add something that would override a child theme, e.g. a higher specifity. This is something that we usually can’t foresee. A new function might need some attention. I’m ok with that. But please, don’t “improve” too much.

Now, I have to check all customer sites for these minor changes. That’s not funny

    Hi @cutu234 ,

Thank you for your feedback, and I completely understand your frustration with the recent changes. We aim to improve WooCommerce while maintaining compatibility, but sometimes updates may affect customizations or child themes due to changes in the code or styling.

Unfortunately, these types of updates can cause minor adjustments that may need further attention, especially when it comes to overriding styles or elements. We strive to balance improvements with maintaining existing setups, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

If you encounter any specific issues with the checkout layout, feel free to share them, and I’d be happy to assist you in resolving them.
