I am in the same position. I have Siteground as well and downloaded this app because I am getting alot of requests to to admin ajax. But, even though I disabled the hearbeat for all 3 options with the plugin nothing has changed. Why is that?

same general hits and various cron jobs going crazy. siteground hosting as well… could this be a coincidence?

Me too. Siteground. I have raised a support ticket pointing to this thread. I’ll post what I hear back. Has anyone else done the same?

I’ve just come across this thread. I too am on Siteground and having huge issues with CPU spikes. It’s wasting so much of my time it’s ridiculous. I run websites with three different hosting companies and Siteground is the only one I have trouble with. I contacted their support so many times they temporarily stopped me from Live Chat for excessive use!! It’s only now that I have established several websites with them that I am reading a lot of negativity around their strict CPU rules. Anything more than a brochure site and you might as well forget it.

I am beginning to suspect that there is an issue their end and they are covering it up.

Probably time to move on I suppose.
