• Six months ago I switched my website to wordpress and before my site would be well ranked by google. Now one of my important pages is not even in the top 100.

My page dedicated to “bridal veil lakes” used to be on the first page, now it does not appear:
    https://www.voila-catering.com/portland-event-venues/bridal-veil-lakes/

This is true for other pages and my blog pages as well…..

There may have been some duplicate content as I move webpages in December, however that is all now fixed but it still does not get rankings. I THINK I have fixed all the problems…but still bad results.

Is there an brilliant mind out there that can spot any problems with my page?

  • When you swapped to WP did you ensure the page URLs and Titles matched? Did you do a 301 redirect?

If the URL was just a little different it would be like you are starting all over for ranking purposes if you didn’t do a redirect.

Thanks Aaron. Yes, I did change urls and titles back in December and that could have caused some of the problem.

However, after the change and as recently as February, the pages were ranking 40 to 50….and now they are not in the top 100.

Ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
