I’ve now been using CF7 for a couple of years and have to say that it is absolutely brilliant – couldn’t manage without it. No wonder it is so popular.

However, I have just one query/suggestion to make. Every time I make any amendments to my forms, or the resultant emails (which all use html), I always finish by having to retick the ‘Use HTML content type’ box – as it always seems to untick itself – before saving the changes.

Is there a reason for the box unticking itself and couldn’t it be made to be sticky, so one doesn’t always have to remember to retick it when saving changes etc?

Minor point I know, but nevertheless irritating in practice. Thanks.

Normally this doesn’t happen. Maybe it’s caused by something other than the plugin. What other plugins and theme do you use?

Thanks. Oh, that’s interesting. I use CF7 on two separate websites, both using the Dodo theme. Active Plugins include WP Backup, TablePress, WP fade in text news, and Postman SMTP.

Both sites display the same unticking issue.

If it’s not generally a problem, I’m sure I can live with it!

Do you see the issue even with different browsers?

You’re right – it’s a problem with my browser after all.

I usually use Avant/Firefox and, with it, the box appears unticked. However, when I access the same page using IE or Firefox (stand alone version) the box is correctly ticked.

Sorry, I never thought of trying a different browser on this issue before. Thanks for your help. I know what to do now!
