Why does it bring you to the homepage after the very first log in as an author?

    Hi,

    when you register at my page, receive the activation link and finally log in the very first time, it brings the author automatically on the homepage again instead of to his profile page. How can I change that because I already heard multiple times that its very confusing.

    Hope someone can help me with that! Thanks!!
