This is the only screen I can see, no matter if I log in or not! I doesn’t matter what I press or what link on the site i visit, it still looks exactly the same!

I will delete it all, download a new wordpress folder and then put in on my server.

PLEASE PEOPLE DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHY THIS IS HAPPENING?

H again, I was just looking at the source code of your page.
    Have you recently changed themes?

Your link is incorrect, you can see “https://www.gratisprodukter.com?step=2” everywhere, all you have to do is login to your admin panel. This is assuming you are running 2.5+, click on settings on the right side, then modify your “WordPress address” so that it is only “https://www.gratisprodukter.com” and not “https://www.gratisprodukter.com?step=2”.

Well apparently I haven’t been clear enough, this is my site that u see up there, I cant use any setting, edit any post, go in to the admin panel, I cant do anthing at all. That page all I can see.

I just made a clean re-installment, still, it looks like this!

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi again,
    try this.
    https://www.gratisprodukter.com/wp-login.php
if you can login I would try to reset to the default theme.
I just reached that page ok.

Thanks Mike but when I do that, I end up at the same old screen!

Well I’m seeing a login screen, for some reason i think your theme is causing the problem.

If you can delete that it should kick back to the default.
I hope you get logged in.
    mike.

I am seeing what looks like an unstyled page. Like the style.css file is not linked in or uploaded.

I agree CodeAvid, thats why I think the themes causing the prob I would try to get back to default, but bazillion still can’t login.

Hi, yet again, take a look at this post.

As long as the default theme is on your server, you can just delete what is currently active.

How does one link in the style.css file? Because I know I have it on my server

Its part of whichever theme you currently have activated, I would remove that theme until you can find out if the theme is compatible with 2.6

    Hi,
This is an interesting topic – I downloaded WordPress a couple of days ago and also have not been able to get anywhere other than the intial screen the original poster is stuck on too.

My WordPress install is at https://v2.theshoppie.com

    I did the following:
    * Downloaded the WordPress ZIP, extracted it, etc, as per instructions
    * Modified the config file to point to mySQL install
    * Visit the “install” link as given in the instructions
    * Supplied Site name, email address, etc
    * Was given an admin login/password
    * Then went to the “login” link as quoted on the page
    * supplied the login details given by the install process
    * Got taken directly to the page which now shows at my website

It doesn’t matter what I click, or what login details I provide (even invalid ones), I end up back at that same single page.

I haven’t seen an “admin” page/section and have not made any changes to code aside from the adjustments to the config file as required by the instructions.

I’ve also deleted all the WordPress files, redownloaded, reinstalled, and removed the mySQL tables completely and allowed it to reinstall totally – but nothing helps!

WordPress looks like a really great system – I hope I’m going to be able to get it working ??

    hi zigzag,
Why is your address v2.theshoppie.com ?
which directory have you installed your blog into
I guess you’ve installed into the root directory.
    looks like the same problem.
