  • Hi Mikey1

    It’s “v2.theshoppie.com” because it’s a subdomain I had available to test with. https://www.theshoppie.com is a completely different account/site.

I’ve uploaded the files to the root of the account for v2.theshoppie.com.

Well, I only have the default and classic themes. This is the first time i use wordpress on this server.

Zigsak seems like you and me has the same problem ??

    I’m baffled ??
Have you also used a subdomain bazillion?
I have to leave for work, but I hope you guys find the answer here,
    regards.mike.

    Nope

    Hi Bazillion,
I see you now have your site working – care to share the solution you used?

    Thanks,
    David

Alright, I figured it out myself!

In the wordpress mysql table “wp_option”, the record called “siteurl” had the address of my site as “https://v2.theshoppie.com/?step=2”, so I changed this to “https://v2.theshoppie.com” and now everything is displaying properly.

Is this a bug with the WordPress install in certain situations? I’m using a Windows 2003 server, the minimum versions of PHP and MySQL, and I tried removing both the database files and the website files several times and still got the same result.

    David
