Why does it look so weird?

Hey everyone again. I have another small question, namely, why does it look so strangely distorted or squashed for me? I mean where you can upload the avatar in the profile, and why does it say German even though the page is in English? Can it be made more beautiful, if so how and where. Thanks in advance <3
